To improve the business relationships of Cus-toms Administrations with the private sector and initiate a Regional Preferred Trader Programme (RPTP) that will obtain and support both the na-tional regulatory authorities and trade communi-ty’s expectations towards regional integration and trade facilitation.
Specific Objective: To finalise the SACU Pre-ferred Trader Programme Training Modules and Materials.

To plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the WCO SACU Connect project towards de-livery on the set objectives, results and out-comes.

To develop a substantial Mercator implementation (development) plan for SARS including better understanding TFA legal framework and benchmarking SARS current practices on AEO, Single Window and other priorities highlighted in SARS request for Technical Assistance/Capacity Building (TA/CB) under the WCO-ESA Project II funded by the Finnish Government.

To establishing real time IT systems connectivity between SACU Member States to enable regional integration and facilitate trade.
