Belize and Switzerland have become the 13th and 14th WTO Members to ratify the WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA). Both countries submitted their instrument of acceptance of the TFA to the WTO secretariat on 2 September.

The TFA will enter into force once two-thirds of the WTO membership has formally accepted the Agreement. In addition to Belize and Switzerland, the following members have ratified the Agreement: Niger, Nicaragua, Trinidad and Tobago, the Republic of Korea, Hong Kong China, Singapore, the United States, Mauritius, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia.
