The TFAF Grant Selection Committee considered 12 applications from 9 Members for project implementation or preparation grants. 

Overall budget to be allocated was 690'000 USD.

Approved Project Preparation Grants

The following three applications were approved:

Myanmar (Art. 10.4 – Single Window): Diagnostic and feasibility study for national single window implementation.

Myanmar (Art. 11 – Transit): Assessment of electronic seals, locks, and ACTS for full implementation of Article 11.

Tunisia (Art. 10.4 – Single Window): Assessment of current IT infrastructure and development of a strategic roadmap.

Approved Project Implementation Grants

The following four were approved:

Saint Vincent & the Grenadines (Art. 3 – Advance Rulings): Establishment of a WTO-compliant advance rulings mechanism. 

Budget: USD 95,120 (TFAF Grant: USD 61,120).

Madagascar (Art. 6 – Fees and Charges): Transparent fee and penalty systems with stakeholder engagement. Budget: USD 239,852 (TFAF Grant: USD 197,852).

Kenya (Art. 7.1 – Pre-Arrival Processing): Multi-agency coordination model for cargo clearance. Budget: USD 192,645 (TFAF Grant: USD 139,645).

Niger (Art. 7.4 – Risk Management): Foundational strategy to reduce physical inspections. Budget: USD 166,000 (TFAF Grant: USD 158,000).
