The 2023, released in September, found that overall implementation rate of general and digital trade facilitation measures increased by 6% points between 2021 and 2023. Least Developed Countries progressed better than the global average. But regional disparities remain significant; Sub-Saharan African and the Pacific Islands show the lowers regional implementation scores.

The survey is conducted jointly by five UN Regional Commission and 163 UN Members participated.
