The objective of this workshop was to assist participants to have a better understanding of Trade Facilitation Agreement, Category A,B & C Notifications and implementation assistance and support that is available.

The WTO funded 25 participants in total. Three from each CEFTA Party who are directly involved in the regional negotiations, i.e. chief negotiator from Ministry of Economy/Trade, deputy negotiator from Customs Administration and negotiator for SPS issues, including 13 females and 12 males.

The Global Trade Facilitation Program (GTFP) is a multi-bi donor program of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and Switzerland providing support to priority countries in the realm of the Swiss Economic Development Cooperation. The program assists countries in implementing the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement and the WCO Revised Kyoto Convention.
