This course aimed to build the capacity of committee chairs, help develop a network of contacts among chairs of national trade facilitation committees of different Members and a good working relationship with the organizations that will provide technical assistance to support their respective national committees.

o To strengthen national capacity of Sudan Customs in order for the country to conduct a Time Release Study (TRS).
o To provide training to Customs and other trade stakeholders in Sudan for WCO TRS tool in order to enable Customs and other border agencies to improve compliance and at the same time improve facilitation for imports-exports.

Perform second comprehensive review of Sudan Customs’ RM infrastructure.
Identify recommendations for RM reform and modernization.

To support the Customs Authority of Sudan for effective establishment and implementation of PCA function in accordance with the WCO PCA Guidelines and to develop a tailor made PCA capacity building support in line with the HMRC-WCO-UNCTAD Trade Facilitation Agreement Programme of August 2016.
